I stayed at the sunset hotel for one whole year n didn't have any problems from other customers the rooms were clean n the maids checked on me everyday they were very friendly to me n to my pet. If I asked the maids for something they got it for me I wanted to pay them rips for their kindness n for making me feel welcome there.n the owner n his wife were very nice n friendly n helpful they were never rude to me there. I would go back n stay here in a heart beat the rooms r clean beds r nice staff if friendly n helpful. It wasn't the owners or staff there that was rude it were some of the customers there they get loud n dumb when they were drinking n owner would come n ask them to keep noise down n be respectful I felt safe here n if I needed a place to go stay again I would pick the sunset inn hotel. So thank u to the owner n his wife for having me n for the way u all treated me n looked out for me n took ur time to talk with me n be a friend to men I like to thank the 2 maids they have there atm n another maid they had before they got the new one. Thank u you for being so friendly n kind to me n my dog Parker n for checking on me asking me if I needed anything n for just taking ur busy time to talk with me everyday n they all put a smile on my face while I stayed there I go back n I would highly recommend for people to stay there especially if ur down on ur luck n ur looking for ur own place n if u have pets because some people won't rent a house to someone if u have pets or kids. But this is the place to stay n feel safe at. Thank u to all the staff at sunset inn for making my stay there for a year good. Ur all the best there I will u all 5 stars on everything u do there.

Stayed 5/7/21. I'm tired of paying for "amenities" at the bigger places that are not available "due to COVID" (that's code that means they will charge you full price for things they no longer want to do). Room was clean, neat, had -everything- a bigger chain would have at about half the price. Manager was doubling as room cleaner, very courteous and efficient. Two home town restaurants in walking distance. Wanted to stay again on return trip but rain slowed me down and I couldn't make it that night. Well worth your consideration. Two other "major chain hotels" about a 1/4 mile away and they likely charge double what you will pay here. Manager simply asked for a good review on Google-here you go! Stayed again 5/4/22. I still give the place high marks. I travel solo, no pets, no smoking. Easy on/off the highway, easy to find gas and food. Was able to find a self serve car wash nearby to get the dead bugs off my truck to get ready for the next day's drive. Fast, courteous check in. I plan to stay next May!

I stayed across the street in another building that sunset also owns because I wanted a 1st floor room. It wasn't the prettiest on the outside but the room itself was very nice and very clean. Not to mention good lighting in the parking lot at night. They have good wifi. It smelled good and had a new tv with movie channels, a fridge and comfy bed with nice pillows. The lady at the desk was very sweet and took good care of me. I paid 90 for a king bed and a pet fee. Fair pricing, I'd stay again.

Good cheap motel. I stayed here on vacation and the owner was very nice when i checked in/out. The rooms aren't the nicest in the world but I wasn't expecting them to be. For the price, this is about as good as you're gonna get.

Lady at front desk is friendly. We were here for a 2 night stay on our motorcycles. She offered a rag to clean the bikes, and chairs for sitting outside to talk. The room was adequate for our needs with a refrigerator that worked well. …

Just checked in, got the room, and love it. Yea, the place is older, but the amenities are updated with a flat screen, microwave, mini fridge, decent dark roast coffee. The bed is nice and springy. Not too soft and not too hard. When walking into the room, we were hit with a pleasant odor and a clean bug free room! Definitely a decent place for a good price! All in all, I like it :)

Stayed here the night after the eclipse. Great rate, comfortable beds, overall fairly clean. The only complaint is the bathroom fan falling down from the ceiling. They have top and ground level rooms and the attendant was very accommodating as I asked for a top level and he gave it to me. Just outside of town with easy access to the highway. One major plus is their beds and pillows have encasements which makes it feel cleaner for sure. The room has a coffee maker, microwave, and a mini fridge. Great for travelers. Would stay again if I were in the area.

Clean great hotel with friendly owners! Showers are great and quiet atmosphere. Close to two great places to eat. Always willing to work with you on your arrival. These people have been a repeat stay for when we do festivals in their area.
